About Solviva Wellness Inc.
Solviva Wellness Inc. is a Canadian food manufacturing and wellness company building better-for-you products from a factory with strong certifications (BRC, Health Canada Site License, Organic, Fair Trade). We are a hands-on team backed by one of the most innovative and breakthrough R&D; groups in all of North America (we’ve solved product issues that no one else has). We’re growing quickly, take pride in making products the right way, and have an incredible, collaborative, “find-a-way” culture.
Our flagship brand, The Little Cacao Co.® is a family of craft, low-sugar healthy chocolates made in small batches, including vitamins, bars, mini-cups, and protein hot chocolate, each designed to deliver flavour, taste, texture, and wellness. We’re innovative, launching eight more SKUs in retail this month (these will be our HERO SKUs), plus six more in eComm, supported by a strong awareness and trial program. Our heritage-acquired brand is Ross Chocolate®, established 30 years ago as a healthy alternative chocolate, listed in most of the larger Retailers in Canada.
The Junior Operations Manager is a hands-on role responsible for three core priorities: maintaining accurate finished-product inventory and an effective shipping and receiving process; improving manufacturing efficiency; and leading continuous-improvement projects. Working closely with the Director of Operations/Factory and cross-functional teams, this individual will use our ERP system (Fishbowl) and related systems to strengthen operational controls,
data accuracy, workflow visibility and execution.
Key Responsibilities · Own finished-product inventory accuracy and availability, including ERP transactions, cycle counts, variance investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
· Manage the end-to-end shipping and receiving process, ensuring accurate documentation, timely ERP updates, proper staging and storage, and prompt resolution of shortages, damage and other discrepancies.
· Improve manufacturing efficiency by monitoring throughput, capacity, labour utilization, downtime, waste and process constraints, and by implementing practical corrective actions.
· Lead continuous-improvement projects from scoping through implementation and sustainment, with clear milestones, stakeholder coordination, risk management and measurable results.
· Serve as the hands-on ERP subject-matter expert, preferably in Fishbowl, maintaining master data, troubleshooting transactions, improving workflows, validating system changes and training users.
· Maintain operational KPIs and reporting for inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, receiving performance, production efficiency, waste and improvement-project outcomes.
· Partner with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and Finance to align inventory, production priorities,
customer commitments and operational controls.
· Promote safe, standardized and well-documented work practices across manufacturing, warehouse, shipping and receiving activities.
Qualifications and Competencies · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, supply chain, logistics or a related discipline.
· Three to five years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, inventory control, warehousing, shipping and receiving, or supply chain.
· Demonstrated hands-on expertise with ERP, inventory-management and order-management systems; direct Fishbowl experience is strongly preferred.
· PMP certification or equivalent project-management experience successfully leading cross-functional operational or continuous-improvement projects.
· Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, inventory controls, shipping documentation and warehouse practices.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify root causes and translate findings into action.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Clear communicator and collaborative operator who is comfortable working on the floor, training users and coordinating across departments.
· Proactive, accountable and improvement-minded, with the judgement and initiative to take on broader ownership and a next-level challenge.
