We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties

- Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize profitability.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and sanitation regulations.
- Support restaurant management with staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring recent team members to build a strong culinary team.
- Enforce health and safety protocols, including food safety certifications and hygiene practices.




- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods.
- Assist in managing restaurant operations during shifts, including serving customers when needed.

Experience

- Proven supervising experience within a food service or restaurant environment.
- Extensive food industry knowledge with hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with cash handling, including POS transactions and balancing registers accurately.
- Barista or beverage service experience is a plus for supporting diverse menu offerings.
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills; comfortable interviewing and onboarding new staff members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards.
