Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This pivotal role combines hands-on food preparation, team leadership, and restaurant management to deliver exceptional dining experiences. As a Kitchen Manager, you will ensure food safety standards are met, maintain high-quality food service, and foster a positive, efficient work workplace.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Manage and motivate kitchen staff through effective team management, including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal customer experience
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales tracking
- Enforce health and safety policies, monitor cleanliness,



and conduct regular kitchen inspections to uphold food safety standards
- Lead by example in hospitality excellence, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Experience with restaurant management systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and conduct interviews for new hires
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and food handling regulations
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable, especially within the food industry or hospitality sectors
- Barista experience or bar service background is a plus for versatile kitchen leadership roles
