The City of North Bay invites applications for the position of Landfill Attendant –

- Environmental (Temporary Part-Time). Reporting to the Landfill Operations Supervisor, the attendant is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring and environmental compliance of the Merrick Landfill Site.

Qualifications

- Minimum (1) one year diploma in environmental science or related field
- Six (6) months previous Landfill or equivalent acceptable experience
- Forklift training certificate
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G’
- License.




- Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated ability to deal with the public; good communication skills
- Cash handling experience
- Sufficient clerical ability to complete daily reports
