Drive sustainable management with the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw Nations as the Lands & Resources Manager. In this full time role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership within the Lands & Resources Department. Your role will encompass managing diverse programs, environmental monitoring, and community engagement efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Lands & Resources Department initiatives and strategies
- Supervise departmental staff and support management functions
- Oversee budgets, work plans,
and reporting obligations
- Engage with government agencies and stakeholder organizations
- Support environmental protection and resource management efforts Requirements:
- Degree in Natural Resource Management or relevant field
- 5+ years in lands and resources or related field
- Experience in supervisory roles for at least 3 years
- Knowledge of Indigenous rights and consultation processes
