Under general supervision, the Laser Operator fabricate raw material for any Schulte product in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.

Please note: This position is an on-site opportunity that requires relocation to the Englefeld/Humboldt or nearby area. Relocation allowance will be provided to the selected candidate.

Essential Functions of the Job:

1. Program and operate laser on a daily basis
2. Follow through on First Part checked procedure
3.



Maintain a clean and organized work area
4. Maintain schedule and deadline requirements
5. Take instruction and work load assignments from Supervisors
6. Gather and transport raw material to designated areas
7. Safety inspections of hoists, forklifts and machinery
8. Perform minor repairs on laser as needed
9. Enter work orders into JD Edwards
10. Operating forklift
11. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

- Ability to read shop drawings
- Ability to follow safe operating procedures
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little or no supervision
- Skills needed to identify substandard workmanship in fabrication
- Ability to get along well with others
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of small hands tools, impacts and air tools
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of JD Edwards
- Basic math skills
