Balcaen and Sons is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in the role of Lead Electrician, as we seek continued growth in the mechanical trades.

Balcaen and Sons has been located at 1392 Pembina Highway since the 1940’s. We are a Fort Garry mainstay and love the community we reside in. Work has changed a lot since things first began for us, but we still call 1392 Pembina home base. Working in a mechanical trades position will take you all over the City to meet the needs of our expansive customer base. Our core business hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, this position is expected to operate predominantly within this window.

As our Lead Electrician you will display an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while meeting the needs of multiple departments. The duties of our Lead Electrician include but are not limited to:

- New appliance wiring and installation
- Troubleshooting and troubleshooting support
- Project quotation
- Project installation
- Permiting

Requirements
- Red Seal Certification or Provincial Journeyperson License




- 5+ years of experience
- Residential installation and service experience
- Ability to work alone and alongside others
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal hand tools, etc.
- Mechanical Contractors License (applicant can be accredited after hiring process if needed)
