Otter Co-op is now hiring a Full‑Time Truck Driver for our Bulk Petroleum Division located in Chilliwack, BC .

Responsibilities

- Hauling bulk petroleum products to customer locations within BC
- Filling equipment, generators, and fuel tanks in pits at customer locations
- Following all loading and unloading procedures
- Completing all pre and post‑trip inspections daily and communicating when repairs are required
- Confirming the nature of each delivery and any special considerations prior to leaving
- Maintaining positive working relationships and communicating regularly with Dispatch/Office Staff
- Ensuring all commercial driving regulations and safety protocols are followed
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
- Contributing to the team in living the corporate values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with air brakes endorsement required
- 3+ years verifiable commercial driving experience preferred
- Training at an approved driver training school preferred
- Must have a clean driver’s abstract updated annually
- General understanding of agriculture business and/or farming background is an asset
- Solid customer service, interpersonal and communication skills




- Motivation and ability to work under pressure in a busy environment required
- Commitment to a safe working environment
- Physical demands: able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs and climb equipment for wheel‑to‑wheel refuel requirements
- Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and afternoons
- Position primarily based at Chilliwack Bulk Petroleum office; may require travel to Langley (Aldergrove)
