Step into a pivotal role as the Title IV-E Lead Grant Accountant with the Children Youth & Families Department in St. Paul, Minnesota. This full time position requires expertise in federal grant management, fiscal policy, and compliance with Title IV-E regulations.
As the primary fiscal authority for Title IV-E programs, you'll shape financial policies and ensure compliance with federal regulations in Minnesota. Your experience in governmental accounting and financial operations will be key in advising leadership, managing audits, and overseeing fiscal operations. You'll influence statewide claiming processes while working full-time in a role tailored for experienced accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret Title IV-E law and ensure federal compliance
- Advise on financial, regulatory, and legislative matters
- Oversee federal audit preparations and response
- Manage statewide financial operations for Title IV-E
- Provide training to counties and internal staff Requirements:
- 3 years in accounting or federal grant operations
- Expertise in financial reporting and budget analysis
- Strong research and legislation interpretation skills
- Experience in providing training and technical assistance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance preferred Utilize your financial expertise to lead Title IV-E grant accounting efforts and drive compliance within Minnesota.
