Shape research impact at the University of Waterloo as the Researcher Visibility and Identity Lead. Oversee persistent digital identifier services to enhance scholarly communications. This full-time position within the Libraries department focuses on optimizing and managing PID infrastructure supporting open research.
You will collaborate with university-wide partners and contribute to equity and accessibility in scholarly work, fostering a community that values research integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operations of PID infrastructure like ORCID
- Develop sustainability frameworks for PID adoption
- Create project management documentation and plans
- Ensure data quality and validation within research systems
- Evaluate effectiveness of persistent identifiers in research impact Requirements:
- Master's degree or related experience preferred
- Familiarity with research databases and scholarly services
