Wage: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do





- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic and general dental procedures.
- Support orthodontic treatments and assist with various stages of patients' treatment journeys.
- Assist with clear aligner and Invisalign treatments, including patient education and treatment support.
- Take digital scans, impressions, radiographs, photographs, and other diagnostic records as required.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments while maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control.
- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding treatment, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Work closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Support front desk operations and patient communication as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and patient-focused clinic environment.

What You'll Bring to the Role

- Current certification as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) and registration with BCCOHP.
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required.
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with orthodontic experience.
- Experience supporting clear aligner and/or Invisalign treatments.
- Experience with digital scanning technology, such as iTero or similar.




- Experience with orthodontic procedures, appliances, records, and patient education.
- Experience with Tracker dental software is considered an asset but is not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- A genuine passion for orthodontics and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
