We are currently seeking a relief full time Life Skills Outreach Worker to join our Mental Health Substance Use (MHSU) team in Nelson, B.C. This relief position is until the return of the incumbent.
Interior

We are seeking an experienced mental health worker who is confident working independently as well as in a team, is adaptable and has good mental health skills to join our small but mighty team.

The Life Skills Outreach
Worker is a member of a multi-disciplinary Mental Health and Addictions Team providing a comprehensive array of services within a psycho social rehabilitation framework to adults with serious and persistent mental illness and/or within a harm reduction framework for those with substance use problems/disorders and who experience severe challenges in daily living as a result. This position will provide these services offering a variety of rehabilitative and treatment modalities inclusive of outreach, community and facility care.
Scheduling Information
