Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lighting and Sound Technician to elevate our production experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting and sound equipment to ensure seamless performances and events. Your expertise will help create captivating atmospheres that engage audiences and bring creative visions to life.

Duties

- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot lighting and sound equipment for live events, performances, or productions.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, or event coordinators to understand technical requirements and desired effects.
- Maintain and inspect all lighting and sound gear regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Adjust lighting cues, sound levels, and effects during live events to enhance the overall experience.
- Manage digital media content using software such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign) and Final Cut Pro for visual presentations.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely setup and breakdown of equipment before and after events.
- Document technical procedures, create cue sheets,



and maintain detailed logs of equipment usage and maintenance.

Requirements

- Proven experience with lighting design, setup, operation, and troubleshooting in live event settings.
- Proficiency with audio mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and related sound equipment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign; as well as Final Cut Pro for video editing.
- Strong understanding of digital media content creation and editing workflows within Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt during live performances.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
