Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards
- Assist in plating dishes attractively for service, ensuring visual appeal
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks seamlessly
- Adhere to all restaurant policies related to serving, food preparation, and sanitation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Willingness to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Understanding of safe food handling practices; Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25–40 lbs, and work in a hot, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and consistent performance.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay: $17.69-$22.03 per hour
