Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our tenants and guests.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes,



sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the food industry.
