Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations. Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow




- Stock supplies and notify management of inventory needs or equipment issues
- Adhere to serving protocols and assist in plating dishes for service

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through quality food presentation and timely service

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.50 per hour
