Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products, offering recommendations and product demos when needed
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain well-stocked shelves through effective merchandising and inventory management
- Upsell products by highlighting promotions and new arrivals to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Ensure compliance with legal age restrictions by verifying customer identification during purchases
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills
- Keep the store organized by managing stock levels,



restocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; experience in alcohol or beverage sales is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising techniques
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with time management capabilities to prioritize daily duties effectively
- Friendly phone etiquette and customer service orientation to foster positive interactions with shoppers
