Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Maintain proper merchandising of products to ensure attractive displays and stock levels
- Conduct upselling by suggesting complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize products for easy access
- Handle phone inquiries professionally,



providing information about products and store hours
- Ensure compliance with legal age restrictions when selling alcohol and verify customer identification as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment throughout your shift

Experience

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and managing inventory counts
- Proven organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and time effectively during busy periods
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have valid preserve certification
