Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. This role involves representing clients in legal proceedings, conducting research, and managing various aspects of case preparation. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and committed to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

- Represent clients in court proceedings and legal negotiations.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage case files and maintain organized documentation using iManage.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
- Collaborate with administrative staff on clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee project management aspects of litigation cases, ensuring deadlines are met.




- Proofread all legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

Requirements

- Proven experience in litigation or related fields is preferred.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Solid interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients and witnesses.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks related to case management, including clerical duties.
- Familiarity with project management principles as they apply to legal cases.
