Our Loader Operators have an incredibly key job as part of a team ensuring public safety and accessibility throughout the winter season in the City of Markham.

Loader Operators are responsible the clearing of snow as per municipal contract specifications; in an efficient manner, with a strong focus on safety.

Essential Duties

- Snow removal service for City of Markham, primarily focusing on cul-de-sacs.
- Previous experience with operating a Loader is required.
- Must be available for on-call 24/7 during the winter season (November 2026 to April 2027).
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work varying hours, days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
- Operate in a protected manner, ensuring property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow.
- Maintain care of company provided equipment, tools and vehicles.

Compensation This position includes a weekly on-call rate, as well as an hourly rate for the time spent working ($32/hour). While we appreciate all applications we receive, only candidates under consideration will be contacted.
