We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented buying professional to join our procurement team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships to ensure the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and components. Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet production needs while optimizing costs and quality.
- Manage vendor relationships through effective communication, performance monitoring, and negotiation to secure favorable terms.
- Utilize SAP, ERP systems, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to track inventory levels, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new suppliers and innovative sourcing options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance to align procurement activities with operational goals.




- Evaluate supplier performance based on delivery reliability, quality standards, and pricing competitiveness; implement improvement plans as needed.
- Oversee procurement processes from purchase requisitions through order placement and receipt verification, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Experience

- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing workplace.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems used for supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability in vendor management, negotiation, and strategic sourcing.
- Familiarity with MRP systems, pricing strategies, and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to build lasting supplier relationships and coordinate with internal teams effectively.
- Ability to analyze market trends and leverage data for informed decision-making.
- Prior experience working with procurement software tools and understanding of manufacturing workflows is highly desirable.

Pay: $500.00-$1,000.00 per week
