? Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care – British Columbia

? Summary

We are seeking skilled and dedicated LPNs to join long-term care teams across British Columbia . In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents with a wide range of medical, chronic, and complex health conditions. Your ability to assess resident needs, manage medications, recognize changes in condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team will contribute significantly to resident safety and well-being.

? Responsibilities

- Provide safe, compassionate, and resident-centered nursing care
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in health status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards and care plans
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and other treatments within LPN scope of practice
- Monitor and manage residents with chronic and complex medical conditions
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, care aides, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans as required
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
- Provide palliative and end-of-life care when required
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals




- Follow infection prevention, medication safety, and quality-of-care standards
- Advocate for residents and ensure their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are addressed

⏰ Shifts: Day, evening, night, weekend, and rotating shifts available

? Requirements – What You’ll Bring

✔ Current registration and good standing with BCCNM

✔ Minimum 1–2 years of LPN experience , preferably in Long-Term Care, Complex Care, Acute Care, or Geriatrics

✔ Current CPR/BLS certification

✔ Experience with medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease management

✔ Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills

✔ Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition

✔ Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team

✔ Commitment to providing safe, culturally competent, respectful, and compassionate resident care
