Job Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Junior Baker to join us! We are looking for someone who can work in the morning from 7:30AM-10:30AM every day.

This role offers an exciting prospect for individuals who love baking, food preparation, and creating baked goods. As a PT Junior Baker, you'll assist with baking, mixing icing and prep.

Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods, such as cinnamon buns and cookies
- Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Help with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling products
- Package baked items carefully for retail or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations




- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when needed

Skills

- Proven experience or interest in baking, or food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques in a kitchen environment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently under supervision
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, packaging methods, and food industry best practices

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
