Grand Toyota is seeking a dependable and motivated Lot Attendant/Automotive Detailer to join our team located in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland.

This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping our dealership property well maintained and ensuring our vehicles are clean, prepared, and ready for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lot Attendant Duties:

- Maintain the dealership lot, entrances, and walkways, keeping outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of clutter.
- Perform seasonal property upkeep and other general outdoor maintenance.
- Remove snow and apply salt to walkways and entrances during the winter months.
- Clear snow from dealership vehicles and assist in keeping the vehicle lot accessible and organized.
- Move and organize vehicles throughout the dealership lot as required.
- Assist with other general lot and dealership duties as assigned.

Vehicle Detailing Duties:

- Clean and recondition used vehicles, including both interior and exterior detailing.
- Prepare current vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring they are clean and presentation ready.
- Wash, wax, polish, and buff vehicles as required.
- Drive vehicles to and from the shop and move vehicles throughout the dealership property.
- Ensure vehicles are fueled as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized detailing/work area.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Ability to perform physical work, including working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and perform repetitive tasks such as washing, cleaning, and snow removal.
- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- Previous automotive detailing experience is an asset, but we will consider candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
