Wood you like to join our Home team? We have an opportunity for you to join our growing team in our Lumber Yard! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of product to our customers and within the yard. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

- Looking for someone with a positive attitude
- This is a full time position. Working every other weekend on a set rotation. We are open until 6 on weekdays and 5 on weekends.
- Knowledge with lumber and building materials are an asset, but not necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
- Must have clean drivers abstract and able to provide at interview

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with loading lumber
- Stocking lumber racks
- Helping maintain a clean warehouse
- Deliveries when needed

Duties

- Safely maneuver items using a variety of equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.




- Operate forklifts.
- Assist with order picking and inventory management in the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area.
- Perform daily pre trip inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Experience

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is essential.
- Experience with order picking and heavy lifting is highly desirable.
