Kick-start your ML career at Hiredbuddy! Work remotely with a supportive team to build and deploy machine learning models. Perfect for recent graduates with Python and ML foundations.
Full Description
Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and collaborative Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing data science team. In this entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that directly impact our products and customers. You will be mentored by senior engineers and scientists, and you will contribute to the full machine learning lifecycle—from data exploration and model development to deployment and monitoring.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining machine learning pipelines and models that solve complex problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and iterate based on feedback. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about applying machine learning to practical challenges, and comfortable working in a remote-first culture.
Key responsibilities include
- Collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to design and implement machine learning models that address business needs.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code for data processing, model training, and evaluation.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of data pipelines using tools such as SQL, Pandas, and Spark.
- Participating in model experimentation, including feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and cross-validation.
- Supporting the deployment of models to production using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn, and containerization tools like Docker.
- Monitoring model performance and contributing to retraining strategies as needed.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and engineering best practices.
- Documenting your work and presenting results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We value a growth mindset, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. You will have access to a wealth of learning resources and the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops, and internal tech talks. Our team operates with a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and mentoring, ensuring that you have the support you need to advance your skills and career. At Hiredbuddy, we believe that great software is built by diverse teams. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. If you are excited about the intersection of engineering and machine learning and are ready to make an impact, we would love to hear from you.
