We are currently hiring a full-time Manager, Facilities & Security to support our Southeastern Ontario locations. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.

The base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, education/training and internal equity. Our compensation practices are equitable and transparent, and support progression through the salary range as employees grow in the role.

The Role The Manager, Facilities & Security leads the integrated delivery of facilities operations, building systems, physical security, fire/life safety, and related service programs across Libro Credit Union's Eastern Division. The role maintains safe, secure, and serviceable workplaces; protects people, assets, information, and brand reputation; oversees key vendor and tenant relationships; and provides practical leadership to support member service excellence, operational resilience, cost stewardship, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, this position manages a diverse portfolio of 23 branch locations and a multi-storey administrative building, providing strategic leadership for facilities maintenance, capital improvements, security programs, vendor performance, and operational compliance. The Manager partners closely with business leaders, property stakeholders, and external service providers to support business continuity, member service excellence, operational resilience, and cost-effective service delivery.

As part of a collaborative team, the Manager works closely with the Manager, Facilities & Security (West) to ensure consistent service standards,



policy implementation, and operational practices across Libro's enterprise-wide facilities portfolio. The role provides cross-functional support and leadership during projects, emergency response situations, business continuity events, and organizational initiatives, helping to deliver a seamless facilities and security program across all Libro locations.

This position offers the opportunity to lead a geographically dispersed portfolio, manage significant vendor relationships, capital investments, and contribute to the evolution of facilities and security services within one of Ontario's largest credit unions.

What We're Looking For

- Post-secondary education in business, facilities management, building operations, construction management, engineering technology, property management, law and security, or another related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Preferred: Specialized education in facilities management
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in multi-site facilities, property management, construction/project coordination, physical security, life safety, or related operational leadership.
- Experience managing multiple sites and geographically dispersed locations.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, service providers, and procurement activities.
- Experience developing and managing operating budgets and project expenditures.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience is required; broader people-leadership experience in facilities, service, security, or operations environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, Ministry of Labor protocols, building codes, secure work practices, and practical risk mitigation.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with tenants, staff, landlords, service providers, contractors, and internal business partners.
- Ability to travel between branch and administration-office locations as operationally required.
- Ability to participate in after-hours support, emergency response,



and issue escalation on a rotational or as-needed basis.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling security incidents, investigations, records, access-control information, video requests, employee matters, or other sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to represent Corporate Services professionally with employees, tenants, vendors, contractors, landlords, law enforcement, and third parties.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation may be required depending on assigned region and portfolio needs.
- Other requirements may apply based on location, role scope, insurer/security standards, and Libro policy.

Qualifications Required

- Valid Ontario Driver's License and ability to travel between locations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and safe work practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with facilities management, maintenance tracking, access control, security, or related operational system
- Joint Health & Safety certified or willing to complete within 6 months.
