As our organization continues to grow through acquisitions and expansion, technology plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence, cybersecurity, and business transformation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Information Technology to lead our IT function and help build a scalable, secure, and high-performing technology environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Manager, Information Technology will oversee all aspects of IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology strategy across multiple portfolio companies. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day operational oversight.

You will lead a small but capable IT team while partnering with senior leadership to implement technology solutions that improve business performance, enhance security, and support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure

- Lead the day-to-day management of corporate IT operations across multiple business entities and locations.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of servers, networks, cloud services, hardware, and business applications.
- Manage user support, system administration, and technology infrastructure.
- Oversee IT asset management, software licensing, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure high availability of critical business systems.

Leadership & Strategy

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.




- Develop and execute the organization's IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Recommend technology investments that improve efficiency, scalability, and operational performance.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on emerging technologies and IT best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement across IT processes and service delivery.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls.
- Lead vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans remain current and effective.
- Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and implement preventative measures.
- Support regulatory compliance and information security best practices.

Projects & Business Systems

- Lead enterprise-wide technology implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Manage IT projects from planning through implementation and post-launch support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technology solutions.
- Support retail technologies, including POS systems, e-commerce platforms, gift card systems, loyalty programs, and corporate business applications.

Vendor & Financial Management

- Manage relationships with external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers.




- Develop and manage IT budgets while ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 7–10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- Experience leading IT operations within a multi-site or multi-entity organization.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows Server
- Networking
- Cloud technologies
- Cybersecurity
- Disaster recovery and business continuity
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, and enterprise applications.
- Strong project management and vendor management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.

Preferred

- Experience supporting retail, franchising, hospitality, or consumer-facing businesses.
- Experience with:
- POS systems
- E-commerce platforms
- Gift card and loyalty programs
- Multi-location IT environments
- Professional certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CISM
- PMP
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications
