Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manual Osteopath to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide hands-on osteopathic treatments aimed at improving patient mobility, alleviating pain, and promoting overall wellness. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their quality of life through personalized care.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive manual osteopathic assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and underlying health concerns
- Deliver tailored osteopathic treatments using hands-on techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and stretching exercises
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, and specific health goals
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and self-care strategies to support long-term wellness
- Maintain detailed case management records, documenting treatment progress and patient responses accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using Microsoft Outlook and Word processing tools to ensure smooth clinic operations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly and empathetically to diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation, scheduling, and record keeping
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (including French) to serve a diverse patient base effectively
- Experience working in hospital or acute care settings with pediatrics or other specialized populations
- Mechanical knowledge of human anatomy and nursing principles relevant to osteopathic practice
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies accordingly
- Time management skills to prioritize appointments and ensure timely patient care delivery
