Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer IV to support manufacturing operations, optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on manufacturing engineering experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and supplier teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for production issues and assist controllers, assemblers, and manufacturing teams.

Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and workflows to improve productivity, quality, and cycle times.

Configure and maintain manufacturing data in SAP, including BOMs, routing sheets, and part parameters.

Support bidding, procurement, project management, production, and engineering teams with technical manufacturing expertise.

Participate in the implementation and improvement of manufacturing models and processes.

Investigate internal and external non-conformances and support root-cause and corrective-action activities.

Provide technical assistance to suppliers regarding product and manufacturing requirements.

Collaborate with engineering centers and cross-functional teams to resolve production and technical issues.

Support manufacturing measurement and assembly equipment as a subject matter expert.

Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma,



and continuous improvement methodologies.

Support NPI, prototype development, manufacturing scale-ups, and transition from design to production.

Monitor production, quality, and operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive performance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production management.

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with manufacturing process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes and identify practical solutions.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP, BOMs, and routing sheets.

Experience with non-conformance investigation and corrective actions.

Experience supporting suppliers and production equipment.

Experience with NPI, prototypes, and manufacturing scale-up.

Experience analyzing production and quality metrics/KPIs.
