Duties

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on various marine vessels using specialized tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and system inspections
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, propellers, pumps, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble marine machinery with precision
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure all vessels meet regulatory standards and operational safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each vessel




- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules

Requirements

- Solid mechanical knowledge with experience working on marine engines or related systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers for effective repairs
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical demands such as lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods
- Certification or experience in marine mechanics is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
