Role Description The Marketing Coordinator– Canada is responsible for building and executing Canyon Bicycles' marketing strategy across the Canadian market. Reporting to the Country Manager, Canada, this role owns local brand building, demand generation, and community engagement – translating global brand direction into locally relevant programs that drive awareness, consumer engagement, and bike sales.

The Marketing

Coordinator partners closely with the Country Manager, the growing Canadian team, and German HQ marketing to ensure Canadian campaigns, events, social presence, and marketing bike fleet support the broader Canadian market growth objectives.

Essential Job Functions

General Marketing: Develop and execute the annual Canadian marketing plan and budget in alignment with global brand guidelines and the Canada Market Plan; monitor the Canadian cycling market, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to inform local positioning and go-to-market strategy for Road, MTB, Gravel,



Urban/Fitness, and e-bike product lines.

Marketing Bike Management: Manage the Canadian marketing/demo bike fleet, including allocation to events, media, ambassadors; maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate build, maintenance, and transport logistics, and ensure fleet condition and availability support marketing priorities.

Marketing Bike Sales: Oversee the end-of-season resale of demo and marketing fleet bikes, including pricing recommendations and coordination with finance teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and recovery of fleet investment.

Event Management: Plan and execute Canyon's Canadian event calendar – demo days, product launches, events and community rides – managing logistics, budgets, staffing, and in office execution to deliver a consistent, brand-right experience.

Local Social Media Management: Build and Own the day-to-day management of Canyon Canada's local social media channels, including content planning, community management, and performance reporting, in coordination with the global social media team to ensure brand consistency.

Ambassador Management: Recruit, onboard, and manage Canyon's Canadian ambassador and influencer network; cultivate relationships that expand brand reach and credibility,



and track ambassador performance and content deliverables against agreed terms.

Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (paid, organic, and email) supporting product launches, seasonal promotions, and sales targets, coordinating with German HQ marketing and the EMEA commercial team to ensure campaigns are on-brand, on-budget, and on-time.

Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated ownership of campaigns, events, and/or social media
- Experience working in cycling, outdoor, sporting goods, or direct-to-consumer/e-commerce environments preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Genuine passion for cycling and familiarity with the Canadian cycling market and community
- Hands-on experience with social media management and analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and events
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, multinational organization, collaborating across time zones with German HQ and US teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva an asset
- Bilingual English/French considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Canada for events, including some evenings and weekends.
- Occasional international travel to US and Germany possible.
