Atlas Machining is hiring! We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, efficiently managing inventory and prepping material for jobs. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Safely load and unload materials using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Label incoming inventory accurately and put away in assigned locations.
- Prepping material (steel, plastics, etc) for jobs, including measuring, cutting (bandsaw operation), tracking and labelling.
- Manufacture of basic components.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse storage areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for material prep.
- Forklift experience is an asset.




- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Be able to handle heavy items (weighing up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work effectively and cohesively in a team setting.
- Must have a positive attitude, be willing to accept feedback.
- Be willing to identify both problems and solutions in the workplace

Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
