Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats to meet our high standards of quality and safety. Your skills will ensure that our customers receive fresh, beautifully presented products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to specifications and customer requests
- Ensure all meat handling and processing complies with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Package meat products securely for retail display or wholesale distribution
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment to uphold sanitation standards




- Assist customers with their selections by providing knowledgeable advice on cuts and preparation methods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies

Experience

- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat preparation, is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety protocols
- Experience with food handling, packaging, and customer service in a kitchen or retail environment
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
