IGA Rutland (located at 50 Highway 33) is currently looking for a passionate foodie to join our team as a Meat Cutter. With a passion for food, you are a person who loves working with people and creating a positive experience for others.

Job Overview

As a Meat Cutter, you will help prepare and package meat and seafood products, replenishing display cases and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. You will also assist with customer orders, requests and inquiries.

Street Credentials:

- Must have an open availability
- Previous experience working as a Meat Cutter or in similar capacity in a grocery store environment is required.
- Meat cutter training/certification is an asset
- You enjoy interacting with guests and offering recommendations on the variety of meat and seafood products we offer
- You have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written.
- You have a great eye for detail and highly organized.




- You love a clean working environment.
- You enjoy working in a team and can work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment.
- You are able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a VALID work authorization in Canada. (We are unable to assist candidates in obtaining a Canadian Work Authorization/Permit)
