We are the local Sales and Service Centre for Swagelok Company, a multinational leader in the manufacture of fluid system components for Oil and Gas, Nuclear Power, Pulp and Paper and many other industries. We are seeking a full-time permanent associate to join our fabrication team in Ottawa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform all activities involved in the operations of the fabrication department. Tube Bending, Tube Fitting installation, orbital welding, panel fabrication and testing.

Produce high quality fabrication work to meet customer requirements.

Ensures compliance with safety policies, efficiency standards, inventory, process improvements, and data reporting.

Proper maintenance of tools, equipment and shop.

Qualifications and Skills:

Five years of fabrication assembly or industry knowledge (welding, pressure tests, electrical)



with pressurized fluid systems knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Robust computer skills MS Office and ability to learn new software as required

College diploma in instrumentation or electro-mechanical considered an asset.

Occasional travel within Canada and the U.S.A (Less than 10%)
