Mechanical Maintenance (Millwright) Technician - Part Time and On Call

Pay Range: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience

Valet Car Wash is looking for a Part Time Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Millwright) who has on call availability to work at our busy Chatham Location.

What you will be doing:

Performing routine maintenance on car wash conveyor systems, site production systems and site equipment.

Working on pneumatic and hydraulic machinery and systems.

Performing quality control inspections including testing and inspecting the systems and mechanical equipment to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently while meeting all safety and productivity standards.

Troubleshooting to determine the cause of mechanical operational errors and make the required repairs.

Determining parts that need repair or replacement and communicating with the site manager to ensure the proper parts are ordered.

Installing equipment, maintaining, and replacing parts at the site as required.

Communicating with site contractors when required.

Working closely with and communicating with the regional and site managers.

Providing daily communications to the management team.

Meeting safety and performance standards.

Following instructions provided in maintenance manuals, reading diagrams,



blueprints and specifications.

Maintaining up to date maintenance logs

Ensuring maintenance procedure books are updated with current changes

Completing Site and Lot Maintenance Duties

Working at 1 to 2 site locations.

What we are looking for:

Mechanical Maintenance (Millwright) experience required

Must have certifications and red seal

Experience with pneumatic and hydraulics

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and willing to learn and develop in the role

Available for early morning, weekend or evening repairs as required

Self starter who is good with time management

Good written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable with flexible and on call hours

Critical thinker with valuable problem-solving skills

Comfortable with online and in person training

Good data computer and data entry skills

Punctual and reliable

Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving with a full range of motion

Comfortable working outdoors and in noisy, hot, cold, and wet conditions

Values learning new skills and staying productive

Confident reading and following installation instructions and reading specifications

Good arithmetic skills and confident with measurements

Good communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently

Must provide your own tools





Company provides mileage paid for all work trips beyond your regular commute to the Chatham Site

4 years of maintenance work experience required

Millwright certification required
