Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly productive, and self-directed Medical Laboratory Assistant to support the Laboratory department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Laboratory Assistant performs specimen collection, preparation and testing, and performs related clerical and other laboratory support functions. Performs inpatient and/or outpatient Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, and/or Holter monitor testing as required, and explains test procedures. Performs routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 06:45 to 14:45, 07:45 to 15:45, 09:00 to 17:00
