Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and professional, with a caring attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy clinic setting

Responsibilities

- Greet patients when they arrive at the office and provide them with any necessary paperwork or other information.
- Updates electronic medical record systems with the appropriate information as needed.
- Assist patients with re-scheduling appointments and other scheduling issues.
- Opens and closes the clinic daily.
- Processes payments and deposits.




- Schedule appointments and confirm appointments in advance.
- Various other administrative duties as required.
- Prepare exam rooms before and in between patients, setting up trays for medical procedures.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Health Quest EMR experience is an asset
- Diploma/Certificate from a Medical Administration program or minimum 1 year of Medical Office experience is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, written, reading and comprehension).
- Other languages are considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
