Rehabilitation Miner Permanent Position – Unionized Position to fill 2 Reference MI26-47 Hourly rate 49,24$ Deadline to apply august 25, 2026 The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest. A friendly, committed, and collaborative working environment Responsibilities Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, the Rehabilitation Miner is responsible for operating a bolter to perform underground rehabilitation work and prepare production headings.

Key responsibilities include

Perform rehabilitation work in underground drifts to ensure ground stability and safety.

Install collar support systems in accordance with established procedures.

Install cable bolts for ground support in production headings.





Perform ground support installation, including plates, bearing plates, work platforms, and other support components.

Inspect assigned equipment before and after each shift.

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, as required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.

High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Diploma in Drilling or relevant experience in a similar position.

Valid General Explosives Permit.

Possess the FMTM Mining Modules 1 to 5 and 7.

Competency in operating a MacLean bolter.

Due to frequent interaction with English-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset to facilitate internal communications.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive working relationships.

Physically capable of performing the demands of the position.
