Miner 2 – Construction Miner – 2026-014
Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Miner 2- Construction Miner to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including boom trucks, scissor decks, LHDs, backhoes, and zoom booms.
- Transport materials such as shotcrete, concrete, and pipe safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work areas including clearing, grading, leveling, and trenching.
- Support demolition activities and complete site cleanup.
- Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Identify and report mechanical or safety issues.
- Follow all site safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and work plans.
- Complete work to project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate tasks with supervisors and crew members.
- Communicate progress, delays,
and issues clearly.
- Adapt to changing site conditions and priorities.
- Manage time effectively to meet project schedules.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in an Underground Mine Environment.
- Several years of experience in construction, preferably in mining or heavy industrial construction.
- Ability to obtain a Blasting certification or license, in accordance with local and national regulations.
- Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in operating construction equipment and machinery.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation and Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $58.54 - $68.95 /hr which includes a target-based monthly bonus
