Job Title: Mobile Parking Enforcement Officer

Type: Full-time day shift

SMS Security is a mid-sized security systems company that has been in business for 30 years. We supply Security Guards and Technician services to condominium buildings across the GTA.

Position Summary

- Competitive pay rates are between $20.00 per hour

What you’ll be doing:

- Conduct proactive security patrols of the property observing and reporting any suspicious or criminal behavior. This includes foot patrol and vehicle-based patrols
- Issue Parking Tickets and warnings for illegally parked vehicles (utilizing the LPR vehicle system as applicable).
- Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes.
- Coordinate towing for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehicles.
- Be a positive ambassador by providing superior customer service and representing the company with integrity and in good faith
- Operate company vehicles in a courteous and safe manner
- Report any incidents or deficiencies immediately to the Manager or Supervisor.
- Assist with other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

What you will need:

- Valid Ontario Security License
- Class G driver’s license with clean abstract
- Able to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent English communication skills
- Dependable, good work ethics
- Friendly, professional attitude
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office
- Team player - positive, honest and motivated
- Lead by example
- Start Date: As soon as possible
