Werner Music Studios is an in-home music lesson provider, offering personalized instruction in the comfort of our students’ homes. We deeply value enjoyment and creativity in music education and are looking for passionate, enthusiastic teachers to join our teaching team in the Kitchener area.

We welcome teachers who are proficient in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, voice, violin, drums, woodwinds, brass, and other instruments.

Duties

- Develop and implement engaging music lessons for students of various ages and skill levels.
- Teach students instrument-specific techniques, music reading, theory, and fundamental musical concepts.
- Provide individual and, where appropriate, group music instruction.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.
- Adapt lessons to suit each student’s interests, learning style, and goals.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity,



and a lifelong appreciation for music.
- Provide constructive feedback and regularly communicate student progress to parents and guardians.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Music; BMus or equivalent is an asset.
- Solid proficiency on one or more musical instruments.
- Experience teaching or working with children in an educational setting.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or educational experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to work effectively with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to students’ homes within the Kitchener area.
- A passion for music and a genuine enjoyment of working with children.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Education

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
