Infrastructure Engineer Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Infrastructure Engineer with experience designing, building, and maintaining IT infrastructure to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank Client: A top Canadian Bank Terms: 12 months, with prospect to extend Location Hybrid- 1-day onsite- Downtown Rate: $60-$70/Hr

Proven experience working with both Linux and Windows operating systems

Solid understanding of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, etc.) Develop and manager Ansible playbooks, roles and workflows for configuration management and automation.

Prior exposure to IT monitoring tools like HP OVO, SCOM, or SiteScope

Ability to write Ruby scripts for automation

Experience with PHP scripting and diagnostics

Understanding of database concepts (SQL, etc.)

Design, deploy, and maintain servers, network devices, and storage solutions

Automate tasks using scripting languages to improve efficiency

Configure and manage user accounts and access controls

Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventative measures

Collaborate with other IT professionals and business units to ensure alignment with business goals
