Sr. System Testing / QA Specialist

Job ID: 26-24070 Location: Toronto, ON (HYBRID) Duration: 11+ Months Client: Public Sector The client is seeking a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with 7+ years of enterprise QA experience to support the Clinical Data Foundation (CDF) program. The role involves designing and executing manual and automated testing for large-scale healthcare applications, with a strong focus on API testing, UI automation, database validation, and HL7 FHIR interoperability. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and automation frameworks. Perform UI automation using

Selenium or Playwright . Test

REST/SOAP APIs , backend integrations, and database validations. Validate

HL7 FHIR R4

resources, implementation guides, and HL7 mappings. Manage defects using

JIRA

and support Agile/Scrum delivery. Collaborate with developers, business analysts,



and project teams to ensure high-quality releases. Required Skills:

7+ years of QA/testing experience with enterprise applications. Strong UI automation using

Selenium/Playwright

with

Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript . Hands-on API testing using

Postman, REST Assured, ReadyAPI , and REST/SOAP services. Database validation using

SQL, Oracle, or MySQL . Experience with

OAuth, JWT, SAML , Git, and CI/CD tools. Robust functional testing, defect management, and Agile experience. Healthcare domain experience with HL7 FHIR (preferred) or HL7 v2/v3

is highly desirable. Nice to Have:

Experience with

Smile CDR , healthcare interoperability, and Microsoft technologies (Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint). Public sector experience.
