Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070

Travel Required: No

: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Emergency Department.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

- Clinical competence in Acute Care and Emergency/Outpatient Services
- Desirable to possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques

Other Information

- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (PALS) an asset
