Position #: 149054 Expected Start Date: August 31, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Cypress Regional Hospital City/Town: Swift Current Department: Integrated Nursing Unit Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: January 30, 2027 FTE: 0.47 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 6 shifts of 11.78 hours per 4 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: No : The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, competent, and evidence-based nursing care within a client- and family-centered model. Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, the
RN conducts assessments, develops and implements care plans, provides health education, and supports clients across diverse social, economic, cultural, and age groups. The RN practices in accordance with the standards of the College of
Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS), the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics, and the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Saskatchewan
Health Authority.
Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP) Other Education and Training Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Time management skills Decision making skills Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge in critical thinking processes Sensitive and understanding of diverse cultural aspects of population served Ability to balance the needs and interests of diverse groups Makes independent clinical judgment based on evidence based best practice Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development Works independently,

Responsible for accurate observation/documentation of patient related info.
Conflict resolution skills to effectively handle difficult issues Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards Ability to coach, mentor and develop others Working knowledge in health promotion Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload demands.
