Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training) About The Role Your clinical experience is more valuable than you think — beyond the bedside. We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help train and evaluate AI systems designed for healthcare environments. You'll apply your deep knowledge of nursing workflows, EHR systems, and clinical documentation to help AI understand and accurately represent real-world healthcare practice.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside top AI research teams and labs.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical content for accuracy, safety, and alignment with real nursing workflows
Apply your EHR and informatics expertise to assess how well AI captures documentation practices, clinical terminology, and care processes
Identify gaps, errors, or unrealistic outputs in AI responses related to nursing and health IT
Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI systems improve in clinical accuracy and usefulness
Translate frontline nursing knowledge into actionable insights that shape how AI handles healthcare scenarios
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Registered Nurse (RN)
or equivalent clinical background with experience in informatics or health IT
Hands-on experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or similar systems
Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and nursing practice standards
Able to evaluate clinical content critically and communicate feedback clearly in writing
Detail-oriented and comfortable working through structured evaluation tasks
No prior AI experience required — your clinical expertise is what matters Nice to Have Background in nursing informatics, health IT, or clinical systems implementation
Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assurance
Familiarity with clinical data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, SNOMED)
