Berkowitz TheraPeds – Occupational Therapist Position(s)

Berkowitz TheraPeds is a growing multidisciplinary practice, based in

Winnipeg, MB. We currently offer Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services to children and youth in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Our services can be offered in our clinic (220 St. Mary’s Rd.), client’s homes/schools and virtually.

We are looking for occupational therapists to join our growing team of creative, strength- based, and caring clinicians, on a contract/casual basis. We are looking for someone who can offer in-home/community based services and work weekends and/or evenings in our office.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide occupational therapy services to children/youth and their families
- Complete timely documentation within our secure online system
- Maintain effective communication with caregivers/guardians of children, as well as Berkowitz TheraPeds team

Requirements:
- Master of Occupational Therapy degree and registration with the College of

Occupational Therapists of Manitoba

- Experience working with children and youth as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with CFS and Jordan’s Principle as funders, is an asset




- Knowledge of occupational therapy services using trauma-informed care, strength-based practices and cultural-sensitivity
- Professional liability insurance for Occupational Therapy practice in Manitoba, through Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and Cyber Insurance
- Recent (within 6 months) criminal record check with vulnerable persons sector and child abuse registry check
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
