We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists to provide in-home assessment and seating/ADP services in Northumberland County.

Kawartha Therapy Services Inc. is a CARF-accredited (since 2013) Occupational Therapist-owned and operated company providing community-based rehabilitation services since 1992. Our Community Occupational Therapists provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to individuals in their homes. We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists who are ADP Authorizers for the following service areas:

- Cobourg
- Baltimore
- Harwood/Gores Landing
- Port Hope
- Campbellcroft
- Garden Hill

Qualifications required:
- ADP Authorizer and seating experience
- Comfortable working in the independent, flexible environment of home and community care
- Self-directed learner with initiative and willingness to ask questions




- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills for self-scheduling, documentation and caseload management
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for home visiting
- Have the ability to work from home office, and have access to a cell phone, tablet and/or laptop for electronic charting purposes at home or during client visits
- General skills for use of technology - web-based email, attaching documents to a file, navigating an electronic client chart

Successful candidates will be registered and in positive standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
